Visualizing the Archive: MultimediaViewer

To make the most of the 500GB of visual data, ensure MultimediaViewer is enabled.

1. Improved Cargo Queries

When querying photos of children or buildings, use the `gallery` format. MultimediaViewer will allow you to browse these results in a full-screen slideshow.

2. Displaying Documents

While PDFHandler shows the first page of your PDF research papers, MultimediaViewer (if configured) or the "Embed" feature allows you to flip through documents without downloading them.

3. Pro-Tip: Image Annotations

Since you are doing historical research, you might want to look into the ImageAnnotator extension as well. It allows you to draw boxes around specific people or architectural features in a photo and add notes that appear when you hover over them.
